RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide legal advice on various corporate issues
• Providing and coordinating legal support to assigned business / functions for the implementation of Legal strategies and objectives
• Provide and manage the provision of prompt, commercial, practical and high quality legal advice
• Advise assigned business / functions of material legal developments and their implications
• Fully brief the General Counsel, assigned business / functions on major issues, risks developments and legislative changes affecting assigned business / functions
• Participate in the key Legal or assigned business / functions governance committees as required
• With assistance from the Regional Legal team, manage the assigned line of business / function legal team within Vietnam
• Coach, review, guide and support junior lawyers
• Monitor the resourcing, costs and spend of assigned line of business / function legal team
• Manage the operational and cost activities of assigned line of business / function legal team
• Awareness of the operational risk scenario associated with the role and to ensure that all actions take account of the likelihood of operational risk occurring
• Leadership over all regulatory and compliance matters and the management of operational risk

• Qualified lawyer
• At least 10 years post qualification experience
• Extensive experience of handling major legal issues
