RESPONSIBILITIES
Our Client - one of the most successful start-up in E-commerce invested by Singaporean equity is currently looking for Head of Purchasing (FMCG) with the brief responsibilities below:
- Develop and manage an active and professional Purchasing team from recruitment, training, evaluation and team cohesion.
- Develop the purchasing strategies and plans aligning with company strategies and investor's guidance.
- Source suppliers (FMCG companies, factories), manage a database of direct suppliers, build network and partner with them to ensure the quantity and quality of goods available for sales.
- Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers;
- Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of service provided;
- Support Sales Team to purchase their orders.

Requirements
In order to be a successful candidates and deliver the tasks mentioned, the following requirements need to be achieved:
- At least 2-3 years experience as Head of Purchasing for E-commerce, Retailers (Mega-market or Supermarket chains, Department stores,...) with strong connections with FMCG suppliers and brands.
- Excellent communication skills, persuationa and negotiation skills.
- An active candidates with sourcing ability and business development.
- Great leadership and management skills
- Proficient English communication (4 skills)
