RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Management:
• Face of company to government bodies, regulatory agencies and customers/suppliers
• Work closely with the business leaders in the development of country strategies and execution of operating plans.
• Provide coaching to the local team and develop talent for Vietnam/ASEAN/Company globally
Establish responsibility and appropriate corrective action plan for any legal action taken against UL due to service problems or labor relations.
• Embrace the Brand and Values of UL and bring them to life locally

Market and Service Leadership:
• Provide Voice of Markets and Voice of Customers to the global/regional team to enable the development of new services.
• Influence the development of new services.
• Remain current on emerging technology, market conditions, industry standards and other factors likely to affect business performance.
• Identify strategic market opportunities for growth and develop new markets.
• Direct the formulation of commercial strategies to meet markets needs and financial objectives. • Direct communication and reporting activities for the country.

Customer knowledge and advocacy:
• Achieve enterprise customer satisfaction objectives.
• Increase perceived value in the marketplace by providing excellent services and customer experience.
• Ensure well-trained and educated sales and operational leadership for the country.
• Use strategic and operational objectives as the basis for measuring the performance of the leadership team.

Requirements

Experience at similar role (general management) in TIC industry (preferred). Also consider some ones from relevant industries (manufacturing, garment & textiles & foot wares, chemicals…) TIC experience is a preference but let’s already look beyond TIC to other industries including industrial companies or those that are B2B
- Experiences managing the whole functions of the companies ( BD, operation, marketing, legal,….)
- Experience working with government agencies, regulatory bodies
- Someone who has the interest and passion to build our business there
- Extremely strong in communication (English & Vietnamese)
- Highly comfortable working in a complex organization structures, especially MNCs’ highly experienced working with different stakeholders. Yes, experience with a matrix organization structure is required
- Highly strong in leadership & coaching, training
- Be open & hunger , passionate; good interpersonal skill – as the face of the company for Vietnam, we are looking for someone with very strong communication skills and presence
- Good business sense, sensitive with market new trends & movements
- Someone who may “have room to grow”
