RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development of machine learning algorithms on health/fitness data
- Improve the scalability, usability, and performance of the current machine learning pipeline.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to address issues relating to time series -data coming from sensors and edge devices.
- Bridge the gap between R&D and production.
- Work with our product managers, data scientists, and firmware engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality and robust solutions.

Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience designing ML systems;
- BS/MS/PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, or a relevant technical discipline;
- Strong Python programming abilities
- Expertise with leading machine learning product development on time-series data (sensor, IOT devices, health/fitness tracking, audio, etc.) Proficiency manipulating huge data with Apache Spark (PySpark)
- Extensive expertise in software architecture design, operations, performance, scaling, and operations management.
- Proven ability to manage difficulties including ambiguous or abstract problem definitions.
- Fluent in English
Nice to have:
- Expertise in computation and memory-constrained edge devices.
- Proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models that perform well on edge hardware
- Processing of signals
