I have had more than nine years of experience in sales and marketing before joining Navigos Search and becoming an associate consultant in the Professional Services team. RESPONSIBILITIES
Summary:
The PR Manager is responsible for PR-related activities in Vietnam and building relationships with press, including online and/or mainstream offline media. This is an opportunity to drive PR efforts in Vietnam for a company that is quickly scaling up with a very innovative business model and huge potential for direct economic impact.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Vietnam sales and marketing team to support coverage according to local market requirements
• Lead PR strategy in Vietnam to sustain positive, in-depth press coverage
• Work with PR agency to execute communications plan
• Coordinate and organize press events
• Support creation of press releases and localization of other press materials
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive media kit for journalists
• Contribute to creation of in-house content e.g. blogs, videos
• Strategize PR outreach efforts nationwide across Vietnam
• Maintain excellent relationships with Vietnamese and international press

Requirements
• Residing in Ho Chi Minh City
• Strong passion with start-up environment
• Flexible, hard-working, and willing to multi-task
• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field (PR, journalism)
• Enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the technology industry in general
• Should have experience engaging with media in Vietnam across different categories and different regions
• Possess strong relations with media, especially tech media
• Must be able to proficiently speak and write English and Vietnamese.
• Willing to travel
• Entrepreneurial spirit, not a "corporate person" and very outgoing, likeable, presentable, humble and naturally gifted at interacting with others
• Self-motivated, self-starter, and able to handle tight deadlines
