RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities: Lead the Company’s food safety program by collaborating with Processing and Quality assurance teams to ensure consistent realization of all relevant Food Safety Standards Assess, develop and continuously improve program design and implementation to minimize food safety and regulatory risk while enhancing product quality.
• Lead the company’s food overall safety program to ensure compliance with food safety and quality management protocols. • Lead monitoring, preventive and corrective actions and development and implement improved food safety protocols as the company builds its next processing facility. • Oversee and continuously improve compliance procedures and policies, inspections and auditing and ensure workers and facilities are positioned to consistently comply with operating standards. • Ovencies, propose, and implement improvements.rsee hiring and training of new quality assurance team members.• Review internal quality assurance reporting, identify deficie • Responsible for creation of training materials, SOP’s and checklists that employees understand and can consistently follow.• Oversee updating and maintenance of all relevant Quality Assurance documents necessary for the implementation of food safety and quality management systems within processing facilities.• Collect and analyze customer feedback to understand and address problems and support continuous improvement to satisfy Customer's requirements. Analyze and identify defects, propose preventive and actions.• Ensure compliance with applicable local and international food safety regulatory requirements and Certifications body• Ensure processing facilities achieve consistency with applicable third-party certification standards. • Conduct calibrations and perform preventive controls monitoring, including, but not limited to wash water, allergen control, environmental, metal detection, and sanitation.• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve policies, standard operating procedures, work instructions, templates, and other documents and related records. Respond to customer requests for information regarding product specifications and/or food safety for products purchased or re-packed.• Provide input to processing standards and product specifications. • Support teams in managing any product recalls, including during off hours and weekends.
• Support General Director to identify and initiate corrective actions related to the product quality.• Work closely with suppliers, contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with company product Quality Assurance guidelines.

- Strong knowledge and experience in seafood processing quality.
- Good English, good interpersonal skills and has familiar with the Quality certifications (SYSCO, BRC, ASC, FDA…).
- Strong leadership skills
