Prior to joining Navigos Search, I had 3 years working as a HR and Admin specialist, responsible for recruiting a variety of positions for an insurance company. Doing both internal and external HR, I have a strong background in talent development, talent acquisition and training.
At Navigos Search, as a recruitment consultant, I cover senior to mid-management levels search for companies operating in Oil & Gas, Energy & Heavy Industry, and Telecommunications sectors for different positions within the organization such as Legal advisors, Team leaders, and SA managers. I focus on creating a better understanding between potential employers and employees along the recruitment journey to bridge the gap of expectations and ensure long-term placement. Duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
• Initiate and develop training manuals/policies that target tangible results.
• Implement training policy and approved programs in accordance with company overall policies and strategies.
• Evaluate company and departments performance to ensure that training is meeting business needs and improving performance.
• Support the performance management process, assess employees’ skills, performance, and productivity for identifying areas of improvement.
• Consolidate department training plans and schedule annual schedule.
• Regularly update and coordinate the statutory technical training and organize necessary courses to plant staff to ensure any requirements be satisfied.
• Identify problems and opportunities such as operational changes or industry developments that training could improve.
• Conduct or facilitate required and recommended training sessions. Support the preparation and customize of training materials and programs to meet specific company requirements. Ensure the training materials are well-presented, up to date, accurate, and effective.
• Attend the technical training delivered by Technical Managers/Directors, re-deliver the session if necessary.
• Establish and implement various learning methods that are both effective and purposeful for the plant staff (e.g coaching, job- shadowing, online training, workshops, on job training).
• Closely discuss and support the Directors/ Managers develop their team members through career pathing.
• Assess the success of people development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
• Monitor, evaluate and report training program’s effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically.
• Manage annual training budgets. Ensures that training milestones and goals are met while adhering to the approved training budget.
• Select and manage resources, including working both internally and external vendors to develop, and deliver training and negotiate contracts
• Develop a Tracking Tool, which will be used for maintaining the all-program training schedule and associated documentation.
• Conduct induction and orientation sessions to new employees, proactively give necessary guidance and support to all new employees and ensure smooth integration process including off–the–job training.
• Drive company values and philosophy through all training and development activities.
• Support programs and processes aligned with sponsors’ business needs including identification, development and purchase of training programs and implementation.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports to the GA Director/HR Manager. Prepare and submit (statutory) reports for auditory purposes when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• A Master's Degree is required.
• Candidate is expected to have at least 5 years experience in training and development either (1) relevant technical education background and proven tracking being a well-qualified trainer or (2) an HR background person with proven work experience as a (Deputy) Training Manager in a power plant or manufactures.
