The Job

RESPONSIBILITIES


Build-up & manage accounting control system to ensure the accounting jobs of the company in compliance with the accounting principles & government law and respond to issue financial & internal reports accurately, timely and sufficiently.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department
Preparation of daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports to management
Lead the team for the calculation and preparation of all related tax requirements
Work with the Bank, other departments for setting up new stores comply with the Company Policy.
Oversea and manage the accounts receivables and payables (included Back-end Rebates).  Control budget & cash flow to save cost and increase productivity.
Ensuring that proper policies and procedures are implemented and updated for the Finance Department
Manage the process for the daily collection of cash takings from stores
Work with Company systems for Purchasing & Warehouse functions and all other reports required and implementing all processes, focusing on business and management.
Maintain financial staff recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.  Ensure a high performing accounting department by scheduling and assigning employees; follow up on work results.
Providing relevant financial information to various departments
Develop and deliver training for all leaders with respect to financial and operational duties, such as: employee/payroll management, operational management, working capital and inventory planning.
Any reports & tasks are assigned by CFO/CEO.

Requirements


Having at least 8-10 years of experience, ideally in the consumer/retail industry or coming from Big4. 
Experienced in financial planning, forecast and financial reporting (VAS & IFRS)
Holding Accounting/Finance qualifications.  Chief Accountant Certificate is the MUST.  CPA/ACCA/CFA is desired.
Experienced as manager level in mid-sized to large size foreign companies previously.
Knowledge of Vietnamese financial law including tax legislation.  Understanding of investment law is preferred.
Proven experience in change management, ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks, hands-on, logical, result oriented and ability to work under high workload.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to present to large groups
Strong analytical thinking, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Good at English.  Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
